Scope of Work
Because birds fly, once they gain entrance to a building, they can go virtually anywhere they want to. Birds are creatures of habit. FSS is aware of many of these habits and what methods are necessary to rid your building of the problem.

Health Hazards
There are over 40 known virus and 60 transmittable diseases directly attributed to birds and their droppings. One of the more common of these
diseases is described below.
Histoplasmosis
Pigeons are known to transmit pigeon
ornithosis, encephalitis, Newcastle
disease, cryptococcosis, salmonella food poising etc.
Their droppings carry spores of a systemic fungal disease called histoplasmosis and this can be contacted by breathing dusty droppings or soil contaminated by pigeon and/or starling droppings
It is estimated that in the U.S. alone:

50 million people have had or been exposed to histoplasmosis

Each year there are about 0.5 million infections with 5,000 people being hospitalized

800 deaths occur due to this disease

An estimated 100,000 people have the eye disease called ‘ocular

histoplasmosis syndrome’ in the rapidly progressive form that can lead

ultimately to blindness.
Damage
Birds cause serious damage and contamination wherever they land, rest, perch, build nests, etc. The cost for this situation can be eliminated.
